Geography
Pattuvam is a village panchayat located in Taliparamba taluk of Kannur district in Kerala. This area, filled with lush greenery and farmland, reflects the natural beauty of North Malabar. Mixed cultivation of coconut, kavung, banana, and pepper and vast paddy fields are widely seen here. The village has a suitable geological situation for agricultural activities as small streams and water bodies flow through it. The topography of Pattuvam is a combination of plains and small hills. Due to the abundant rainfall during the monsoon season, agriculture flourishes. The forested areas, including the Naga Temple at Kayiyath, are notable for their biodiversity and medicinal plants.
